Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful week. It's been dreary and rainy most of the week here in Middle Tennessee, but it's giving fall vibes, so I will take it over the heat any day.
We had the best trip last week! Bryson set up at Gov Con which is a tourism conference for the whole state, and he's gotten a couple of leads for small towns who would like to work with him on marketing and branding which we are so thankful for. I got to explore the city of Kingsport while he was set up, and I really enjoyed having time to go to shops, work, and eat alone. Those moments are rare for a mom, so I soaked it all up. I went to Target alone and didn't really have anywhere else to be - what a luxury! We also went to see my niece march in the University of Tennessee's Pride of the Southland Band on Saturday, and it was amazing! She is so talented, and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to see all the performances in person.
We are gearing up for a busy week next week, and I honestly cannot believe that September is pretty much over. Where did the month go?! Next week is the last week of the 9 weeks, and then we have fall break.
Nora is really growing, and this past week she started calling Owen, “Owee.” Bryson and I might die from how cute it is! She also is getting a little personality of her own and has very strong opinions about things. She won't take anything from her brothers I'm telling you what.
My MIL sent me this lady on Instagram last week, and I have fallen in love with her. I want to be her when I grow up, and I just want to be dressed like her everyday. She’s so cute, and a little light to your day on the internet.
I finished this book over the weekend, and it is just SO good. It was my last nod to summer, and I highly recommend! I have enjoyed all of her books, so if you haven’t read the others, you should add those to your list, too!
I found these a couple of weeks ago, and they’ve been a lifesaver for quick breakfasts for me before taking kids to school. I make some eggs and add some chicken sausage on the side to make it a full meal!
This is my favorite fall blend of tea! I have been drinking it for years, and there is something just so soothing about it when the first leaves start to fall!
We made this salmon last night, and it was so delicious! I loved the crunchy outside but buttery middle. We made it with rice and roasted broccoli, but you could make it lots of different sides for a tasty and fast meal.
