Weekly Favorites - November 14
I'm afraid sick season is going to be here before we know it, and our kids have already had the sniffles more than once this fall. Nora had some wicked chest congestion, and this thing was LEGIT! I will be singing its praises all winter long.
I made this loaf for a girls' night this week, and everyone wanted the recipe. So, here I am sharing it for you! You just need those bananas that have been sitting on your counter for a minute and some pumpkin, and you'll be set to make a tasty treat (secret - make it with dark chocolate chips)!
We made this for dinner last night, and I cannot stop thinking about it. If you like french onion soup, you'll love it. We served it with this mashed cauliflower dish from Aldi and sautéed green beans! The kids didn't eat it but such is life.
I am currently reading this book, and I just got to the point in the book where I really don't want to set it down. It's a rom-com, but it's a little more nuanced than some because it's about a late 30's divorced mom and work place enemies to lovers trope! Here's my reminder to use Libro.fm instead of Audible when you can because your purchase of an audiobook supports local bookstores! It's a small way to support our favorite bookstore in town - Duck River Books! Here's my referral code, and you'll save some money!
Okay, one more recipe for the week, but a friend made these recently, and they are divine! I just ordered this muffin tin to make them in to make it even easier for myself!
