Weekly Favorites - September 20

I am about ⅓ of the way through with this hilarious book. I want Vera to be my grandmother, and I really am curious who murdered someone. It's been a fun listen, and I think it would be a good crowd pleaser. (nothing scary or gory)

Y'all. Sometimes I just need to stop droom-scrolling, so over our Labor Day trip, I grabbed a word search book to help me spend less time on my phone. It's been really nice and mindless for me especially in the evenings. I also took it with me to the hospital on Monday when my mom got her hip replaced!

I ordered this set today to try out for postpartum life in the next few months, and I'm curious to see how it fits. It looks really nice, but you know how ordering things online go sometimes. I'll keep you updated.

We made this soup last night, and it was a good entry into soup season for us! We added some carrots for some extra veggies, and we used heavy cream because that's what we had on hand (if you don't need to be dairy-free)!

At the beginning of the year, I wanted to try a different brand of makeup and simplify my routine each morning. I got this set from Merit, and I absolutely love it. I just reordered the complexion stick (which is my fav) and the flush balm. It's lasted me a long time which is always nice. I do add a SPF underneath each morning and some extra concealer, but I love the dewy, natural look that it gives me. AND it takes maybe 5 minutes to do it all! Use my code to save 10% off!
