It's hard to describe why we love this place. First of all, their food is delicious and inventive. It's hard to not eat there without texting all your friends to get over here and join you.

Chocolate, peanut butter and a long-overdue birthday gift.

We owe a lot of love to Lucy McEwen and her amazing store Lily Jane. Susan was the manager there for a few years and learned a lot about running a business before we decided to open our store. Lucy and her husband Dan are some of our closest friends in town and have been big supporters of our dreams since day one.

Dresses, movies and some throwback EMO are part of our list this week.

We are pretty simple people who typically love food and crafty things. I thought it might be fun each week to take a look at our favorite things this week. I know a couple of bloggers do this, and I love it because they are typically short, and I love a good list. 

We are on vacation as I type this, and it's a great way to reflect on the year we've had. 2017 has been a great one with great highs, and it's been a hard one with some low lows. What better way to show you a recap of our year than with photos, right!?

It's been a bit since we've updated you about our shop progress! It's been kind of slow and kind of tricky to maneuver our growing list of orders and a few markets and some personal career changes (Bryson) and a messy house! 

The tennant before us had a thing for souping up cars and black paint. This space was dark y'all,albeit quite clean, it was still a cave that needed a coat of sunshine fast. So, while we wait on the A/C and commercial doors to be installed we made use of a long weekend to get started on paint!
